The
combined Hindi word Sidhi Kathaa means the “Tales of Success”. There are
many students of Aseem Asha Foundation who got the wings of Success and
excelling in various fields. Following are our achievers.

He joined Aseem Asha Foundation in 2013 and currently (2020) pursuing B. Com
from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College (University of Delhi). Hasan had cleared
Extra Curriculum Activity (ECA) trial in Film Making and Creative Writing with
good ranks in both of them. Sanshrey of Aseem Asha provided him an opportunity to learn filmmaking and nurture his creative talent. Later, he
made various short films for the foundation and volunteered as an assistant
teacher to teach students of Pratibha Khoj under the program Daksh.
He is a regular beneficiary of Alamb and Sayyara too. Aseem Asha
Foundation provides him food under the Inaayat program as he comes from a
very distant place.

Hailing from the marginalized community of Okhla Mohd. Shakir began his journey
with Aseem Asha in 2016. Earlier he used to assist his father in selling
Biryani on the street and pedestrians. Daksh helped him to continue his studies
and he is completed Bachelor of Arts from Dayal Singh College (University of
Delhi) and now he is pursuing MBA from Amity University, Noida. He is also a recipient of the Young Artist Gold Medal in 2017 for his
brilliant sense of fashion design. He worked on the Mixed Media Storytelling
Workshop at Apne Aap Women Worldwide Forbesganj Centre as an Assistant Trainer.

She joined Okhla Community Development Center in 2016 and completed B. Com from
Jamia Millia Islamia. She has made sketches and water-color paintings on the nine
forms of Goddess Durga for Aahang. Zainab also taught to students of
junior high school under Daksh and was an integral part of Sanshrey,
Sayyara, Rehnuma, Sama & Inayyat. She received the Aseem Asha
Young Artist Award in the year 2017.

Aqil is pursuing an Under Graduate degree from Shri Aurobindo College
(University of Delhi). He became a part of Aseem Asha in 2014, we provided him
full scholarship under Aalamb. He was also an important part of Sanshrey
as this program helped him to secure admission in the college. Mohd. Aqil is a
recipient of the Best Community Leader Gold Medal in 2017 and he has been a
distinguished Community Film Editor. He also participated the Organization's
Mixed Media Storytelling Workshop at Apne Aap Women Worldwide Kolkata Centre as
an Assistant Trainer.

Profile:
Adeeba Saifi is pursuing Masters of Fine Arts from Jamia Millia Islamia & completed BFA from Jamia Millia Islamia. She
studied at Noor Nagar Government Girls Senior Secondary School and is a budding
artist who has used pictorial calligraphy to create images of women characters
in Rabindranath Tagore’s short stories. She aims to become an art teacher. She
was given a full scholarship under Aalamb and Ahang program had
brushed up her artistic skills. While being part of Sayyara and Sanshrey
her creative and intellectual skills got enhanced that are being represented
through her canvas. She produced many paintings on different themes and was
awarded as a best community artist in 2017 under Utkarsh.

presented to music maestro A.R. Rahman as well.

Kareen joined the caravan of Aseem Asha in 2014 and become a beneficiary of
many programs of Aseem Asha Foundation. Daksh enabled him to complete his
education and he had completed Bachelor in Political Science and now he is pursuing MSW from IGNOU. After getting
inspiration he started his own academy in the slum area of Ghaffar Manzil. He
is a regular beneficiary of Sanshrey, Sama, Sayyar and a success story
of Inaayat. Kareem was awarded community leadership and excellence award
in 2017 under Utkarsh.

enthusiastic, vibrant and confident students of Daksh Ilma has been a part of multiple
initiatives since 2017. She has completed Bachelor in Hindi from Dayal Singh
College (University of Delhi) and aspires for the master course in Mass
Communication. Rehnuma, Daksh, Sanshrey and Sayyara in a unison
built her capacity and prepared for the brighter future ahead. As part of the Nirvaan
she fed street animals during pandemic COVID 19 under the aegis of Aseem Asha
Foundation. She was also awarded with best community leader in 2017.

joined Aseem Asha in 2012 and completed BA (Hons) in Hindi from Jamia Millia
Islamia. She was an integral part of Ahang, & Daksh and was
awarded with best community Artist in 2017. She also made a film “Holy Symbols”
as part of the Sanshrey and these symbols were also gifted to many renowned
people. She got partial scholarship for her academics and participated in
various art workshops as part of Rehnuma and Ahang.

was a talented student of Daksh and an important part of Sanshrey

class mate Arti was given best story award in 2017. A part from these Community
Art excellence and leadership award was also conferred upon them. Currently she
is pursuing Bachelor of Arts in Hindi literature form Jamia Millia Islamia.

Profile: Mushtaq
has been learning at the Okhla Community Development center for several years.
He successfully completed a course in professional film editing there. He
passed the entrance examination of Jamia Senior Secondary English Medium School
in 2011. Mushtaq ranked 74% at the top of his 10th class from Urdu Medium
Senior Secondary Government School, Noor Nagar. He has produced and edited more
than 150 short student films. Mushtaq had trained students in professional
editing skills through Digital Film Making workshops organized by AA Foundation
in schools, colleges, and non-governmental organizations. He has been
instrumental in running a campaign for environmental issues for several years.
Mushtaq presents his animation films to many communities in order to raise
public awareness on water conservation and keeping parks green. He has
completed his Master in Social Work from Jamia Millia Islamia and currently an
aspirant of PhD and cleared Junior Research Fellowship in July 2018. He was
awarded with Karamveer Puraskaar in students citizen category in 2011.

the early period of Aseem Asha Foundation Kiran Rai joined Kalpana Chawla Media
Resource Center and completed her certificate course in Design Communication in
2010. She worked as coordinator in Shahdara based NGO that helped her in
raising the voice for women rights. She represented the foundation in various
festivals, talks and workshops. Later, Rehnuma of Aseem Asha supported
her to secure jobs and consequently she got an opportunity to work in
Netherlands Based Radio channel. Currently, she is senior content producer in
the same organization and gained financial independence.

hails from very marginalized and poor family living in Seelampur. Aseem Asha
supported him in each and every phase of his career financially, socially and
emotionally. He made various films as part of Sanshrey and Rehnuma
helped him to secure admission in Graduation course from PGDAV College (University
of Delhi). He was the torch bearer of Tagore peace campaign and made replicated
a stitch painting of Rabindranath Tagore through his embroidery that was presented
to may legendary personalities. He also reproduced Tagore’s paintings,
caricatures, doodles and poems through his embroidery Art. Currently he working
as a manager in Bawana based textile company and supporting his family well.

academies of children.

got a chance to present his song to him. Later, on the recommendation of Aseem
Asha Zama got the golden opportunity to travel Japan by Japan Foundation for a
student exchange program. He is having a digital appearance and sings
independently; his music videos are available on his YouTube channel for global
audience.
