WHO WE ARE
Aseem Asha Foundation is a non-governmental, enrolled altruistic trust,
headquartered in Delhi. It was founded in 2008 by Aseem Asha Usman, an alumnus
of Jamia Millia Islamia. Mr. Aseem Asha Usman is a PG in Development
Communication from AJK Mass Communication Research Centre, Jamia Millia
Islamia, New Delhi, having an incredible vision for a constructive,
inclusive, comprehensive, and amicable society. Since its inception, the
foundation has been dynamically functioning in the fields of Education, Art,
Media, Women Empowerment, and Environment, empowering networks in ICT devices
and numerous different classifications. The foundation has worked extensively
at the grassroots level in Jafrabad, Seelampur, Bawana, Savda Ghevra,
Dharampura, Nizamuddin Basti slum communities in Delhi, Forbesganj, Bihar and
Kolkata, West Bengal Slum Communities. Its presence is now in Okhla, aiming for
the upliftment of marginalized sections of society.
Our Objectives
Following are the
objectives of the foundation
- To promote National Integration, Communal Harmony, Universal Brotherhood, and Global Peace.
- To work relentlessly on women and youth issues
- To
promote charitable values, literature, science, art, education, and culture
- To
explore the ways for promotion of socio-economic development in the community
- To
establish center (s) for the promotion of Music, Dance, and other Arts.
- To
organize vocational training for women and needy people
- To
work for the empowerment and sensitization of women, adolescents, and children
- To
spread the teachings and thoughts of great leaders, philosophers, thinkers,
reformers, and saints.
- To
save or protect National Heritage, Buildings, or places of the archeological and
historic importance
- To Take up the initiative or assist social development
activities or welfare programs for bringing positive change in the lives of
common people.
- To work against the exploitation of Animals
and Birds
- To work and fight against discrimination based on
Cast, Creed, Color, Gender, Religion, Faith, Race & Nationality
- To promote, encourage and facilitate research programs
and training in the field of public health, education, and empowerment
- To aware people of their democratic and fundamental
rights.
- To encourage emerging artists and their talents so that they can get proper recognition within and beyond the country.
