Nishpadan Kendra (Program Implementation Center)
Nishpadan Kendra is a combination of two words of Hindi, indicating Execution or Implementing Centre respectively. The main purpose of these centers is to implement various programs of the Aseem Asha Foundation. Following are the major program implementing centers (Nishpadan Kendra).
1. Media Resource & Training Center (MRTC)
Media Resource & Training Centre (MRTC) engages communities across the states in learning various skills in film and media. The first MRTC is in Jafrabad Community. Our efforts are in the direction of replicating such more centers not only at the state level but national level too.
Kalpana Chawla Media Resource Centre (KCMRC)
In 2008, Aseem Asha Foundation established Kalpana Chawla Media Resource Centre (KCMRC) at Jafrabad. It was locally known as MRC, where students learned critical media literacy & computer skills to produce short films highlighting their immediate problems. The first batch saw a strength of 17 students. The Centre ran in a space that was provided by the community members themselves.
KCMRC offered valuable training in the fields of effective communication and presentation skills, enhancing the quality of its students. Sanshrey and Daksh were the two successful programs designed by KCMRC. With a short life span of 4 successful years, KCMRC made its exit in 2012 coz of a lack of financial and community support.
2. Community Development Centre (CDC)

Community Development Centre (CDC) aims at empowering, uplifting & enriching communities for their overall growth and development. Through CDCs, we work at the grassroots level in various fields such as education, career, environment, emergency relief, culture, communal harmony, gender-based violence, arts, music, heritage, health, etc. The first seed of such a center was sown in Okhla Village Community, New Delhi.
Okhla Community Development Centre (OCDC)
Okhla Community Development Centre formerly known as Fun and Information Centre (FIC) was an integral part since the foundation got registered. It was meant for children living in Okhla Village, who were either school dropouts or didn’t have access to information technology. Initially, the center organized creative story-telling sessions, digital storytelling and creative writing workshops, visual communication workshops & street plays for children from within the communities, and studying in government schools.
In 2015, CDC expanded its horizon to work in many other areas and renamed it as “OkhlaCommunity Development Centre”. Below are glimpses of the program that are being run in OCDC. Daksh (Competitive and Academic Coaching, Vocational Training), Sanshrey (Media training and Content Creation), Aalamb (Scholarships), Sama (National, Cultural, and Regional festival celebrations), Saiyaara (Education Exposure Visits), Rehnuma (Career Scope and
Guidance), Inayat (Community Kitchen), Utkarsh (Art Excellence and Community Leadership Awards), Aahang (Training & Promotion Visual and Performing Arts), Nirvaan (Emergency Relief).
